Key Responsibilities:
Perform general building maintenance when needed and or scheduling repairs that include- door repairs, key record management, painting, drywall and ceiling repairs, floor restoration, and other essential upkeep. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Address and resolve corrective maintenance issues promptly as directed by the management team. Respond efficiently to tenant maintenance requests, fostering positive relationships through professional and courteous interactions. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company policies. Collaborate effectively with third-party contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless facility operations. Investigate and monitor potential structural concerns, including roof leaks, to maintain a safe environment. Maintain personal tool inventory in optimal working condition. Provide after-hours emergency support as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in commercial or institutional buildings. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems is helpful. Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, subcontractors, and all levels of management. Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with strong leadership skills. Availability for emergency maintenance outside of regular business hours. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds, frequent standing, walking, kneeling, climbing ladders, and balancing. Valid state-issued driver’s license required for travel between properties and after-hours calls. Must successfully pass a background check.
