Commercial Senior Maintenance Technician Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

Senior Maintenance Technician Commercial Office Portfolio – Tampa Area We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to support a premier portfolio of full-service commercial office buildings. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high operational standards across facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain building HVAC systems, including water treatment and equipment logs. Perform minor repairs (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, doorways, ceilings, flooring, etc.). Support inspections and repairs for life safety systems and assist with emergency preparedness. Track energy conservation efforts through lighting and energy management programs. Maintain maintenance shop and mechanical/electrical rooms in clean, organized condition. Ensure timely and accurate service request resolution using mobile work order systems. Assist with vendor coordination and manage stock levels in line with budget expectations. Foster strong customer relationships and a sense of community among building occupants.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or education preferred. 5+ years of hands-on experience in building maintenance within commercial properties. EPA certification and knowledge of building codes preferred. Proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Strong organizational, communication, and mentoring skills. Must be available for rotating on-call duties (nights, weekends, holidays).

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work on rooftops, and operate in extreme weather conditions. Frequent climbing, kneeling, bending, and working with arms extended overhead.
