Handyman/Maintenance Technician 1.8 1.8 out of 5 stars 1549 North Franklin Street, Tampa, FL 33602 We are looking for a skilled Carpenter/Handyman to be our company’s Maintenance Technician in the Tampa Bay area. The ideal candidate would be productive, professional, motivated, honest, passionate, and good at what they do. Candidates shall have a proven history in quality repairs, replacements, and installations. With a skill set to properly do the job “right the first time” and in a timely manner and who are self-directed, highly motivated individual who can live up to the classification of “skilled craftsmen.

Some Job Responsibilities:

• Performing general maintenance and repairs of facility, equipment and property structures
• Perform building HVAV, plumbing, electrical, tile, drywall and painting repairs as necessary
• Follow safety rules and precautions on every job
• Punctuality
• Dependability – more reliable than spontaneous
• Evaluate the job before starting
• Clean as you go

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of contractor or handyman experience
• Electrical/Mechanical knowledge a plus
• Own your own set of tools to perform your skill set
• Own your own truck or van
• Current proof of valid Florida Driver’s License
• Current proof and maintaining active insurance on the vehicle that you use on the job
• Background check
• Have a smart phone
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong people skills
• Ability of lifing at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability and desire to consistently learn and improve
• Spanish is not required but is a plus

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$25.00 – $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
