Pay Rate:
$30-32/hr RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is currently recruiting for a manufacturing client seeking to fill multiple direct hire Electro-Mechanic I positions in Plant City, FL. If you’re ready to join a tight-knit, high-performing maintenance team at a leading manufacturing facility, this could be the right fit. Position Summary The Electro-Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently. You’ll report to the Maintenance Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring both mechanical and electrical systems are operating safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Work with voltages up to 480V and comply with electrical safety practices Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, AC/DC motors, and related controls Perform wiring, conduit installation, and use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, thermal imagers) Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Follow company safety standards and participate in emergency maintenance as needed Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and spare parts usage Perform work at heights up to 60 feet and in various plant environments
Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems including PLCs and VFDs Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems Ability to read technical schematics and perform root-cause troubleshooting Effective verbal, written, and phone communication skills Organized, dependable, and mission-driven mindset Ongoing willingness to learn through training and certifications Additional Info This position is located within a high-volume, fast-paced plastics manufacturing plant Candidates must pass electrical skills and safety assessments Emergency call-in availability is required
