• Job Description:

• The companyis lookingto hire aMaintenance Mechanicto perform maintenance and repairs on floating equipment.

, lifting equipment, over-the-road equipment, and miscellaneous shipyard equipment. As a maintenance mechanic, be required to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. This is a 1st shift position.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on shipyard equipment, including tugs, barges, cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, chain falls, pickup trucks, mobile cranes, automobiles, portable pumps, generators, cable reels, power units, ventilator blowers, and lighting equipment.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Operate cranes, forklifts, air compressors, and trucks for repair purposes.

Operate under quality, safety, environmental, and health regulations and policies. Be interested in working in a shipyard environment and find satisfaction in the work.
