Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to assist our Construction Manager with various maintenance and general construction tasks, as well as occasional transport of materials. This is a versatile position requiring someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general construction and maintenance work (light plumbing, basic repairs, paint touch-ups, etc.) Help with aesthetic and finishing tasks (mounting pictures, adjusting details, small installations) Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies at different job sites Operate pallet jacks, lifts, and other basic equipment (training can be provided) Drive a truck to transport materials — up to 4-5 hours of driving in a day (no special license required) Deliver supplies to various properties and support logistics needs Collaborate with the Construction Manager to complete tasks efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and storage areas

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques. Ability to drive a pickup truck confidently (valid driver’s license required) Capable of operating equipment like pallet jacks and lifts (experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and a clean, careful approach to work Resourceful and adaptable — able to support different types of work Reliable, autonomous, and proactive attitude Ability to lift and handle materials and tools safely Flexibility in working hours and job site location — while 80% of the work will be in Tampa and Clearwater , occasional travel to other hotel sites across Florida may be required.
