Maintenance Technician:

At RISE Sereno, our Maintenance Technicians are essential to ensuring our residents live in a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained community. You’ll be on the front lines, handling service requests, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs that directly impact the resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform General Maintenance:

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues

Turn Units:

Prepare apartments for new residents by handling painting, repairs, and cleaning

On-Call Support:

Participate in the property’s on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

Routine Inspections:

Ensure all common areas and systems are operating safely and efficiently

Stay Organized:

Maintain a clean and well-stocked maintenance shop

Deliver Outstanding Service:

Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents and fellow team members

Follow Safety Protocols:

Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company policies for safety and compliance

What You Bring:

Experience:

At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience

Certification:

EPA Certification required

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable using a smartphone to manage work orders

Skills:

Solid knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair

Strength:

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

On-Call Ready:

Available to participate in the on-call rotation as needed

Communication:

Ability to read and write for documentation and work order updates

Transportation:

Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
