Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper Position Available In Hillsborough, Florida

Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper Golden Spirit Ranch Odessa, FL Position responsibilities includes following procedures for outdoor work including property care, landscaping, equipment operation, supply use to include but not limited to cleaning, mowing; weed management; planting; aerating; cleaning fences; clearing brush, shrubs; repairs of multiple types; operating tractors; dusting, removing cobwebs, clearing limbs, painting, irrigation maintenance and other job duties as assigned with the following requirements:

• following established safety procedures for all aspects with emphasis on operations, observations and cleaning;
• report safety and maintenance issues to manager;
• cross train to equipment, supply use to gain familiarity and comfort following procedures and protocols on all properties;
• assist in disaster preparedness and staffing affecting the work site (s)
• honor confidentiality of business;
• implement and stay up to date with policy and protocol changes;
• demonstrate a high quality of work standards and ethics
• perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and experience required:

Agriculture and farm background; Able to operate large equipment; General home care and supply use that might be applicable Behaviors required Must be able to work independently and efficiently Highly motivated and energetic; ability to show initiative Ability to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines and attend to follow through A positive outlook and vision Physical demands standing long periods of time; walking an extended period of time lifting 75# or more working outdoors in all forms of weather, including heat, cold, humidity, sun or rain use manual dexterity to handle/reach items and work with hands use close, distant, peripheral and depth perception Nonsmoking, nonvaping properties. Background check will be completed. Must have a DL and reliable transportation to work. Position pay is commensurate with skills that include property care (ie, large equipment operation, attention to detail). Able to work independently, lift 75# and function doing an outside job. expected to prioritize work, be on time and work assigned days.
