Under general supervision, maintain and repair lab equipment and facilities, including diagnosing and rebuilding machinery, performing scheduled and emergency maintenance, and troubleshooting automation equipment. Additionally, assist with process improvement projects and general facility upkeep. Essential Functions Perform department tasks, including one or more of the following: Diagnoses, repairs, and rebuilds Surfacing, Finishing and AR Coating equipment Perform scheduled maintenance on laboratory equipment Disassemble, clean, and rebuild specialized laboratory machinery Perform online equipment repairs Perform machinery preventive maintenance activities as prescribed by the manufacturer Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as needed Maintain equipment maintenance records Assist with a variety of facility and departmental process improvement projects Troubleshoot a wide variety of computer-controlled automation equipment Perform building infrastructure maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, painting, and general facility upkeep
Requirements:
Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Two to four years of experience in factory equipment maintenance Demonstrated experience and familiarity with fluid power, mechanical, and thermal system experience Experience in troubleshooting electrical, electronic and motor control systems, including the use of electrical diagnostic equipment and the ability to read system schematics and drawings Manage and process service requests using the adopted software ticket system (e.g.
FIXX-CMMS
