Position Overview:
As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for preparing our apartment homes to meet company standards for future residents. Your skills in basic remodeling, carpentry, and general maintenance will be essential in ensuring the apartments are ready for new move-ins.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, residential maintenance, and installation of appliances Experience with residential remodeling Be able to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner Attention to detail Strong work ethic, driven and dedicated attitude Be able to work in a team environment Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, ownership of basic hand tools, and ability to be on-call rotation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with tools, and equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and operating equipment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks. Knowledgeable in Fair Housing.
