The Engineer position is a behind the scenes role that is responsible for the day-to-day general maintenance at each of our facilities. This position requires physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, reaching and ability to lift 50 pounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
Performs routine inspections and maintenance on building systems.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
Represent Vinik Sports Group professionally at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED required.
At least (3) years’ experience in the general maintenance field.
Ability to work with job-related tools.
Ability to decipher problems and remedy same
Self-starter, prompt, and team worker.
Team worker with emphasis on safety in the workplace
Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented environments.
Detail oriented w/ excellent organizational skills
