Maintenance Technician Waterman Village 300 Brookfield Avenue, Mount Dora, FL 32757

Job Overview:

The maintenance technician reports to the Director of Maintenance. The responsibilities of this position include: working individually or with others in craft or specialty on preventative maintenance projects, general maintenance or emergency repairs; and/or other duties needed as required. Essential Job functions/Responsibilities

• Performs duties at a professional level
• Addresses all painting, wall repair, electrical, plumping, air-conditioning etc. Needs via work orders.
• Completes all required departmental and annual in services and attends department meetings.
• On call availability (When applicable)
• Reports areas of concern to the Director of Maintenance
• Maintains fire safety compliance readiness at all times
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Performs corrective maintenance as needed throughout facility.
• Performs electrical installations and repairs as necessary.
• Assist in the maintenance of resident’s rooms as assigned.
• Records time and material expended on each job and completes required daily maintenance documents as appropriate.
• Assist in the room turnover process as assigned.
• Work in co-operation with other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
