Responsibilities Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and moreTest pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those resultsDocument pool issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customersInstall new underwater lightsUse certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filtersTest pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levelsDiagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replacedInstruct clients on best practices for maintaining their poolQualificationsPrior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferredMust be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterityValid driver’s license requiredApplicant must have high school diploma or equivalentAbility to work in harsh weather conditionsMust have a clean driving record and drive safely and courteously, obeying signs and driving rulesMust be able to work with paperwork and software management systems for pool serviceMust have a great attitude and be willing to learn continuallyPool Service technicians must be able to communicate politely with clients and team members and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner Help for Employer Information.
