Role:

Coppersmith Recruitment and Services is seeking an experienced Pool Technician to join our client’s team in Mount Dora, FL. This role involves maintaining, cleaning, and servicing both residential and commercial pools to ensure they remain safe, clean, and fully operational. If you have at least one year of pool maintenance experience, enjoy working outdoors, and have a keen eye for detail, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with a supportive and growing team. Some of our client’s technicians earn up to $1,000 per week based on hours and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine pool cleaning, including vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and debris removal. Conduct water testing and balance chemical levels to meet health and safety standards. Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.) and identify maintenance or repair needs. Carry out minor equipment repairs and promptly report larger issues to management. Maintain accurate service records for each pool serviced. Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and addressing concerns professionally. Safely handle pool chemicals and follow all relevant safety protocols.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in pool maintenance, cleaning, or a similar role (required). Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to commute to the main site in Mount Dora. (Company vehicle will be provided for travel to client locations thereafter.) Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule. Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction. Physically capable of performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification (preferred but not required). Experience with both residential and commercial pool systems.
