The primary focus of this role is to perform strip and wax services for commercial flooring, ensuring optimal cleanliness and appearance. This position is scheduled for two days each month , providing a flexible opportunity to contribute to high-quality floor care in commercial settings.

Duties:

Perform strip and wax procedures on various flooring surfaces, following best practices for safety and quality. Prepare floors by removing old wax, cleaning surfaces, and applying fresh wax coatings. Ensure proper drying and buffing to achieve a polished, professional finish. Monitor the condition of floors, identifying areas in need of additional care or repair. Maintain custodial supplies specific to strip and wax services, reporting any needs for replenishment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling equipment and chemical solutions.

Skills:

Proficient in strip and wax techniques, with experience in commercial floor care preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of floor care best practices, including proper use of cleaning solutions and equipment. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within the designated two-day schedule each month. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on maintenance needs.
