The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and a commitment to ensuring optimal operational efficiency. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members and may also supervise junior staff as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including logic controllers, using tools such as an ohmmeter. Fabricate parts and components as necessary to support maintenance activities. Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and support. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries related to maintenance issues. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial equipment. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter. is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Previous experience supervising staff is preferred but not mandatory. A proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance in all maintenance tasks.
