Maintenance Technician at a Private Golf Community Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club 10420 Washingtonia Palm Way, Fort Myers, FL 33966 Heritage Palms is a prestigious Golf & Country Club that offers its members a full range of recreational and social amenities. Job Summary (Essential Functions) Maintain Club equipment and complete repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, pools, and building structure. Job Tasks/Duties Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, ventilation systems and building structures of the club and club pools. Conducts repairs to plumbing, such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains. Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps. Performs routine preventive maintenance, including pools. Makes grouting repairs, patches walls and paves brick. Repairs small motors. Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays. Cleans and sanitizes toilets. Cleans sink and fixtures, wipes mirrors, walls and light switches. Restocks towels, soap, other supplies and amenities. Thoroughly cleans all pool furniture. Checks lamps for burned out light bulbs. Washes tiles, tub, shower walls and fixtures. Cleans pool deck of all debris. Conducts repairs to pool plumbing, such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains. Tests swimming pool water. Maintains daily log of water test results for local health department inspections every other day and every Saturday and Sunday. Attends departmental staff meetings. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Facilities Director.
