The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning efficiently. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks on pool equipment. Conduct thorough pool cleaning services, ensuring all debris is removed and water clarity is maintained. Diagnose issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements on equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of service performed, including chemical levels and equipment conditions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool care. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards related to pool maintenance. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to pool maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment effectively. Experience in pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing for optimal water quality. Ability to work independently as a service technician while managing multiple client schedules. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and provide guidance on pool care. Must have at least one year experience servicing residential pools. Must be in good physical shape and be able to work outside in Florida weather conditions at a steady pace, carrying chlorine jugs, 40 pound bags of salt to and from pools . Must have knowledge of pool equipment and valves, salt systems, and how to test and balance all pool chemicals. Individual must be able to communicate well with customers and with us, and needs to have a cell phone. We provide company work shirts and take home company vehicle.
