Requirements
Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
The position may require the individual to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
Communicating effectively with residents and staff
Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines This position operates in various environments throughout the residence. Regular exposure to heat, cold, various weather conditions, sharp objects, electric tools, sharp objects, and various chemicals will occur. Individual may be exposed to materials that commonly cause allergic reactions such as paint, fiberglass, dusts, grass, and pollens.
