- Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sunrise Community. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and safe for our clients and staff. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting our mission of community integration and quality living.
- Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Utilize CMMS to track maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to carry out repairs and installations effectively
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues requiring attention or repair
- Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations
- Lead small teams in maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance tasks
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Leadership skills with experience supervising others preferred
- Basic welding skills are a plus but not required.
