Expected Starting Hourly Range:

 $16.38•$20.47 This classification performs advanced technical work in maintaining specific database(s) for the department. Incumbent may also perform administrative and fiscal duties as assigned. Working Conditions
Indoor/outdoor situation; high noise environment while performing certain responsibilities. Lifting equipment up to 25 lbs. alone; up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Job Description Essential Functions These are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position. Performs basic statistical analysis of database entries and other related data as required; evaluates quality assurance and reports on quality and accuracy of data and data input into the system; prepares complex related technical reports and records. Inputs data from incidents to track costs, estimates and contract work. Compiles totals and presents billing package to Finance for County reimbursement. Performs various fiscal functions, i.e., initiating purchase requests, handling accounts receivable/payable, handling release orders, monitoring and maintaining office supply inventories, coordinating assets, etc.; assists in preparation of section budget & vendor expenditure levels. Prepares BCC agenda, proofreads agenda, prepares proclamations, assembles agenda notebooks, distributes agenda materials, posts meeting and public hearing notices, prepares meeting schedules, etc. Develops and maintains the department’s/division’s database(s) for records. Performs filing of paperwork records and assists with the input of these records into department’s paperless electronic filing storage system. Collects high volume of daily work records, reviews for correctness and completeness, validates and coordinates questionable entries, and enters into work management system with a high accuracy rate. Communicates clearly, effectively and tactfully, orally and in writing; establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others. Cross-trains in other areas and effectively adapts to a versatile work environment, where daily duties could be subject to change without prior notification. Performs other related work (including weather or other extreme emergency duties) as required.
Technical Requirements
Ability to efficiently perform detail-oriented tasks, including proofreading documents, quality assurance review, etc. Skill in performing statistical analyses and accurate mathematical computations, as required in the performance of duties. Skill in computer operations, including MS Word, Excel, and Access, with ability to manage various related data programs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certificate of competency. Minimum of two (2) years of data input and/or analysis experience related to area of assignment. Public sector experience desired. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
