Job Summary:

Shore/Form Systems is seeking a skilled Formwork Maintenance Technician with proven welding experience to support the upkeep, repair, and modification of formwork systems used in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of formwork components, steel repair, and general fabrication processes. This role ensures all formwork equipment is functional, safe, and compliant with project requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair all types of formwork equipment including panels, frames, clamps, and accessories. Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify steel/aluminum formwork components. Ensure that all repairs meet company quality standards and follow proper safety guidelines. Identify defective or damaged formwork components and take corrective action promptly. Conduct preventive maintenance and suggest improvements for durability and usability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Assist with the assembly and disassembly of formwork systems on-site when needed. Work closely with site supervisors and engineers to ensure timely availability and readiness of formwork. Maintain a clean and organized workshop and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in formwork maintenance, preferably in a construction environment. Certification or experience in Stick, MIG/TIG welding (as required). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with different formwork systems (e.g., Doka, Peri, RMD, etc.) is an advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical condition; ability to lift and handle heavy formwork components. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding or mechanical maintenance is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift operation certification. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols. Experience in metal fabrication.
