RESIDE IN PALMETTO, BRADENTON, ELLENTON AND PARRISH AREA.
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman Assistant to support our lead handyman with various residential construction and repair tasks. The Ideal candidate must speak English fluently, have reliable transportation and have a working knowledge of home construction, tools, and basic maintenance practices. Pay scale depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general home repairs, renovations, and maintenance tasks Follow instructions from the lead handyman and work as part of a team Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Help with loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and drywall work Keep job sites clean and organized Communicate clearly with team members and homeowners Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Requirements:
Must speak and understand verbal & written English Basic knowledge of home construction and repair techniques Comfortable using hand and power tools Physical ability to lift heavy items and work on ladders or in tight spaces Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Punctual, hardworking, and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction, remodeling, or home maintenance Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems OSHA certification or other safety training a plus
