Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sign Fabrication Technician to join our team. This role involves fabricating, crafting and assembling high-quality custom cabinet, monument, pole and pylon signs for our valued customers. The ideal candidate is creative, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing exceptional results that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication:

Construct signs from start to finish using steel, aluminum and acrylic substrate’s using various techniques from shearing, bending, welding and finishing

Welding:

Equipment Operation:

Operate machinery including CNC routers, laser cutters, saws, and welding equipment.

Assembly:

Assemble components of illuminated and non-illuminated signs, ensuring proper wiring and functionality for electrical signage.

Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce signs to specification.

Quality Control:

Inspect completed signs to ensure they meet company standards and client requirements.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.

Collaboration:

Work closely with designers, project managers, and installation technicians to meet project timelines.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in sign fabrication or metal fabrication in a production environment is preferred

Skills:

Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals

• Attention to

Detail:

Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while adhering to project specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment.

License:

A valid driver’s license is required.

Certifications:

Welding certification, CNC operation training, or similar qualifications are desirable.
