None Job Summary Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our maintenance team. Job Responsibilities/Requirements
- Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of commercial and industrial flooring of the warehouse as well as office areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and polish floors.
- Strip and wax hard floors to maintain appearance and durability.
- Shampoo and extract carpets to remove dirt and stains.
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
- Ensure safety by following proper cleaning procedures and handling chemicals correctly.
- Inspect floors for damage, and make minor repairs as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a janitorial or maintenance team.
- Must be detailed oriented with knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be familiar with how to operate floor equipment, strip and refinish floors, and restoration techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
