We offer a full line of commercial and/or residential hollow metal and wood doors, frames, louvers, architectural hardware, windows, architectural millwork, bath accessories, and much more. JJAS Door Installations, Inc is also state, county, and FSC CoC certified.
Job Title:
Door Installer Experience:
Two or more years of door and hardware installation experience
Qualifications:
Completion of a 30-hour class on the Fundamentals of Architectural Doors and Hardware. Proficient use of levels and measuring tape for accurate measurements of doors and rough openings. Ability to repair and maintain mechanical locks. Knowledge of NFPA80 Standards for inspecting, testing, and maintaining swinging fire doors. Understanding of
NFPA 101
life safety code for fire-resistant door hardware, functionality, installation, adjustment, and repairs. Basics of interpreting architectural construction drawings and reading. CPR Certification. Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. OSHA 10 Certification for ensuring safety assessments at job sites daily.
Responsibilities:
Daily recording of installation progress reports and uploading all information into the job e-folders. Daily uploading of pictures and/or videos of completed work in the job e-folder. Daily job review with the operations manager. End-of-job debriefing with the JJAS team. Daily workyard reporting, including assignment, travel, pre-installation, or field installation to each job. Follow the schedule provided by the operations manager and install material per manufacturer’s instructions. Verify that material aligns with JJAS Doors Field Installers Form. Perform daily quality control inspections on every opening worked.
