Job Description
Handyman Employer Solutions Services, Inc. Medley, FL 33178 We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our warehouse team. This role is essential to maintaining the facility, supporting production needs, and ensuring that both equipment and infrastructure operate smoothly. The ideal candidate is versatile, proactive, and experienced in general repairs and maintenance tasks.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7AM -5:30PM (40 Hours a week)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall patching within the warehouse. Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment. Assist with minor facility projects such as building shelves, workbenches, or partitions. Support the assembly teams with ad hoc tasks that require handyman skills (e.g., fixing jigs, modifying tools, creating temporary fixtures). Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse for maintenance needs and safety hazards. Coordinate with outside vendors for larger repairs or specialized services. Manage and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Assist in moving materials, organizing storage areas, and general warehouse upkeep as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Ability to operate common tools and equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
