RESPONSIBILITIES
The Service Agent performs routine maintenance and repairs for designated communities. This team member must be familiar with skills of various maintenance trades. Our Service Agents operate building systems and any related equipment and tools to complete tasks to the levels of company standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide routine maintenance and repairs for designated properties.
- Operate building systems and related equipment and tools for repairs.
- Turn units: prepare move in ready apartments including painting units, testing appliances & installing doors and hardware.
- Basic plumbing, replace lighting fixtures, and clean pool filters where applicable.
- Complete resident requested repairs and service in a professional & timely manner.
- Assist with resident lockouts.
- Follow safe work practices and guidelines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with community team members and provide outstanding customer service.
- Must be able to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education or equivalent.
- One or more years of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to climb stairs while pulling a dolly. Ability to travel up and down a ladder. May be required to lift 85 lbs. Must be able to operate necessary small machinery (i.e. mower, weed-wacker, etc.).
