$1.50/hour Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brunswick, GA. This position is responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repairs, as well as preventative maintenance on plant equipment and facility structures. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime and help maintain a safe and efficient production environment. Key Responsibilities Comply with OSHA and facility safety standards, including the use of PPE. Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures. Execute a preventive maintenance program on all production equipment. Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled repair needs. Perform welding, cutting, and soldering using electric and gas tools. Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to conduct required maintenance. Carry out facility repairs, including pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, machining, carpentry, and equipment installation. Physical requirements include standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Vision and hearing must meet safety standards for a manufacturing environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting. Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience is a plus. Proficiency with hand and power tools.
