The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling and cleaning various aircraft wheels and brakes, ensuring that all components are handled with care and precision. This role requires mechanical experience and knowledge of basic tools. As well as the ability to work well in a team setting. The Disassembly Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Disassemble aircraft wheels and brakes according to established procedures, component maintenance manuals and safety guidelines. Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record. Be thoroughly familiar with all tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility. Collaborate and assist with other departments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and components are stored properly. Perform maintenance on tools and equipment within their assigned area. Make pick ups and delivery as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in a technical or mechanical role, preferably involving disassembly or repair of components. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with team members. Knowledge of basic tools, equipment and forklifts is preferred. Ability to read and understand technical manuals/Airworthiness Directives/ Service Bulletins related to component disassembly and cleaning. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Must be able to lift and maneuver parts up to 50 lbs.
