Job Summary:
This is a 1099 role. Appropriate IRS paperwork required. Please have references available. Please submit a resume in English. Please do not apply if you don’t have any of the skills listed below. We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various facilities, equipment, and systems in residential and commercial properties and communicating clearly with Customers and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Must have experience with general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and especially repairing/ texturing drywall.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Replace electrical / plumbing fixtures and appliances.
- Handle plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Must have your own tools in safe working conditions.
- Must have a reliable vehicle preferably one that can carry tools and supplies safely.
- Respond promptly to text messages , voice mails and maintenance requests.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Fluently speaks and understands English.
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of general repair and maintenance processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot various issues with equipment and systems.
- Excellent time management skills.
