Hotel Engineer 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 7769 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34747 Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our hotel, where you will apply your technical expertise to help us maintain and improve the upkeep of the hotel. The Engineer will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality service and solutions to our guest. Duties What you can help us do : Keep our hotel in a clean and orderly condition while tending to the air conditioner, boiler, etc.
Your every day:
Maintaining a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations, and develop recommendations accordingly. Maintaining a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner. Maintaining building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Replacing air conditioner filters and cleaning of PTAC units. Notifying management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall covering, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs. What you need to perform this job successfully : One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work alongside a team or with minimum supervision to analyze and fix problems in order to smooth the hotel operations Self-motivation and analytical skills Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
