35 to 70 minutes The Maintenance Technician reports to the Champions Village Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and is expected to make teamwork and customer service their top priority. Days will be spent working and completing assignments as given and scheduled by the Property Manager. This includes, but is not limited to service requests, emergency calls, move in needs, and property task(s) that may be needed daily, weekly, or monthly. Each member of the maintenance team must be available for on call rotation and work with other service team members and/or offices as needed. The Maintenance Technician, along with every member of our team, will also be responsible for assisting residents, delivering exceptional customer service, and making teamwork a top priority.

Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with rotating on-call schedule (some weekends required)
Technician Pay :
$17 – $22 per hour (based upon experience) Full time / 40 hours per week Job duties include: Ensure the completion of all service requests Inspect community continuously, recording and correcting deficiencies Order necessary supplies and parts within budgetary guidelines Perform all general and routine maintenance in the community Ensure that all keys are kept properly Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents in vacant apartments and occupied units on an as-needed basis Perform HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, minor drywall repairs and other interior repairs daily Service requests made by residents should be completed within 24 hours Handle ”on call” duties whenever needed; will carry a cell phone on a regular basis Replace breezeway light bulbs as needed Assist with apartment make-readies (includes painting, repairs, cleaning, wall/sheetrock repair, lock changes, etc.) Order supplies; communicate and coordinate with vendors Assist in the distribution of flyers and other materials Assist in picking up litter & maintain small amount of grounds Perform preventative maintenance Keep inventory
Requirements:
HVAC certification is required (CPO certification and REAC inspection experience preferred) At least 2 years of experience Basic computer skills, including email and some Microsoft products
