This position will oversee the maintenance of 191 units and requires a candidate with the following qualifications:

Position Summary:

The individual will perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical and operational integrity of the apartment community. This includes ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, as well as the upkeep and repair of grounds, apartments, and buildings under the direction of the Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily repair and upkeep to ensure community aesthetics.
  • Physically walk the property daily to maintain cleanliness, including litter removal and pool area upkeep.
  • Perform trash-out duties of vacant units to prepare them for occupancy.
  • Clean and maintain pool decks, restrooms, and communal areas.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, including changing AC filters and performing minor repairs.
  • Manage service requests and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain inventory and care for tools and equipment.
  • Assist with nearby property maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of hands-on maintenance experience, including carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • EPA Universal Technician license and HVAC certification required.
  • Familiarity with multi-family real estate and property management preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; CPO certification is a plus.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required for those driving between properties.
  • Ability to work rotational on-call as needed.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, organization, and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; capable of performing various physical tasks including climbing ladders.
