WHAT SETS YOU APART

Orlando City SC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the Facility Operations team. The selected applicant will be required to inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs and / or preventative maintenance when required. This role supports the Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines and dryer equipment and maintain records for equipment Handle basic repairs and maintenance including but not limited to painting, flooring, seating, drywall etc Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary Repair machines, equipment or structures as necessary Responsible for setting up technical systems for events held at the stadium Maintain appropriate inventory of all assets, equipment parts within the facility Research and procurement of equipment and supplies as needed Provide a safe, clean, friendly, and well-maintained facility for staff, and players Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OHSA and state/local codes. Work varying shifts to accommodate events at Osceola County Stadium when needed Other duties as assigned

  • 2 references required High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Related technical college degree is not required but preferred Skilled in the use of hand and power tools Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary Working knowledge of lighting systems and equipment Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices Experience performing routine maintenance Highly driven self-starter, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and follow up skills Strong attention to detail with effective time management skills Professional presentation and attitude Proficient in MS Office programs; experience with maintenance management software required (

Ex:

FMX or Maximo) Must have fundamental knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, paint; general construction knowledge experience preferred Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions as they pertain to engineering operation of a large facility Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions

In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the league’s 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then-Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Club’s MLS debut.
