Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for all facilities, grounds and vehicles. Here’s what the job involves: Responds promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facility needs. Provides reliable emergency support during and after business hours to maintain safety and functionality. Conducts routine facility, vehicle, and grounds inspections to uphold high standards and regulatory compliance. Assists with the pickup, organization, and storage of donated items to support program operations. Supports special events and organizational initiatives by setting up spaces and ensuring equipment readiness. Maintains accurate work order records and proactively communicates project status and needs. Purchases and manages materials for assigned tasks while prioritizing cost efficiency. Performs preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure a safe environment. Keeps work areas clean and hazard-free, always leaving sites better than they were found. Follows OSHA safety standards and promotes a culture of workplace safety. Remains accessible via cell phone for urgent tasks and coordination.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Two (2) years experience in facility maintenance and/or construction required..
