Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of marine engine parts,has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic, tojoin their winning team in West Palm Beach. Our candidate of choice will be responsible for the maintenance,repair, and optimization of industrial machinery and heavyequipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The idealcandidate will have hands-on experience with a range of mechanicalsystems and equipment, a strong troubleshooting ability, and acommitment to safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery,heavy equipment, and related systems in 2 general buildings Equipments that we work with are the following: Hydraulic presses,welding machines, automated saws, air systems, lathes, CNC &manual, pneumatic equipment, water jet machine Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairsolutions. Replace defective parts, such as gears, bearings, and othercomponents. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues beforethey result in equipment failure. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanicalproblems and develop appropriate repair strategies. Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup andcalibration for optimal performance. Adjust and fine-tune equipment settings based on operationalrequirements. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities,including parts used and time spent. Prepare reports on equipment status and provide recommendations forimprovements or upgrades. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performingmaintenance and repairs. Ensure that all work is compliant with industry standards andregulations. Work closely with other team members to address equipment-relatedissues and improve overall efficiency. Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing maintenanceprojects and future needs. Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe andsanitary working condition. Follow all company safety and security procedures. Maintains safety, product quality, and manufacturing effectivenessthrough daily

KEY REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification orassociate degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology,or a related field preferred. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair,particularly with heavy equipment and industrial machinery. Electrical experience is a plus Good communication skills. Spanish speaker is not mandatory, but itis a plus. Punctual, reliable and conscientious with strong attention todetail and accuracy Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. The ability to multitask, prioritize and drive projects is amust. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnosticequipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, andblueprints. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to workindependently. Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work invarious environmental conditions (e.g., noise, dust, temperatureextremes).
