Job Summary:
The Racquet & Tennis Club Maintenance Technician is responsible for the care and upkeep of a world class racquet facility, including har-tru and hard court tennis surfaces, pickleball and padel courts. Capability to work outside for most of the day. Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping or a related field is beneficial.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is advantageous. Knowledge of the care and maintenance of tennis and other racquet sport court surfaces is a plus. Ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tennis and other racquet sport court surfaces. Perform upkeep tasks such as cleaning, painting, and general repairs around the facility including sweeping, watering and brushing the har-tru lines 3 times daily. Repair irrigation, replace clay court material, maintain windscreens, weeds, maintain trash and towel control and general upkeep. Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and machinery used in maintaining the racquet facility. Assist in setting up and tearing down courts for various events and tournaments. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including but not limited to overseeing towel laundry delivery and pick up and restocking comfort stations throughout the day.
