Job Description
Apartment Maintenance Technician 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Seminole, FL 33772 Apartment Property Maintenance Responsibilities included, not limited to: Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment Respond promptly to maintenance request from residents or supervisors Conduct preventative maintenance: changing air filters, parts and complete inspections Repair minor plumbing issues: leaky faucets, clogged drains, etc.
HVAC support:
replacing thermostats or checking filters Appliance repair: stove, dishwasher, refrigerator Some painting and drywall patching lock and door replacement Assist in maintaining inventory Document work orders in software: repairs and maintenance schedules Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways, and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
Qualifications:
Pre-employment drug screening and criminal screening. A driver’s license is required in all positions, except for the Groundskeeper, depending on community size.
Work Location:
This position is on premise position. The maintenance technician, while performing the job, will be required to stand, walk, crouch, bend, and lift objects regularly throughout the day. Frequent standing and use of arms and legs. The position requires you to physically lift 10 or more pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation. CLK requires weights exceeding 50 pounds to be accomplished with assistance from one or more people.
Working Environment:
Outdoors 66%-100% of the time. The maintenance technician position is responsible for the upkeep of the exterior and interior of the community.
Schedule:
Full Time Some weekends may be necessary based on business needs.
