This position involves a combination of mechanical and electrical tasks, requiring a strong understanding of schematics and the ability to troubleshoot various issues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Duties Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure readiness for operation. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues. Fabricate components as needed to meet operational requirements. Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions. Perform welding tasks to repair or modify equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Supervise junior technicians or apprentices, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any customer service concerns. Experience Proven experience in a technical role with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret schematics. Familiarity with customer service principles, ensuring positive interactions with clients. Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is preferred. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment relevant to the trade, including welding equipment. This position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Candidates should be prepared to engage in hands-on work that requires both technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
