DESCRIPTION
The Campus Operations Support is responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and clean campus while supporting the mission, vision and values of Pasadena Community Church. This role requires attention to detail and hands-on problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the facilities and equipment to uphold the church’s ministry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Help inspect the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety in compliance with local and state building codes and safety regulations. Help facilitate campus readiness for Sundays and other special services and events to include set up and breakdown of tables and chairs. Complete cleaning checklist for each work shift and remove trash from building. Assists in repair and maintenance requests as instructed by supervisor. Answer maintenance phone while on duty and help anyone in need of assistance. Lock up facilities at designated times, turning on alarms, turning off lights and adjusting thermostats.
Requirements:
Basic Knowledge of the use of equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, etc. Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to:
Lead Pastor, Director of Operations or Personnel Committee Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Special Requirements:
Negative drug screening, Current Florida Driver’s License and clear Level II background check required.
