We are currently seeking a skilled Hurricane Shutter Technician to join our team and support our expanding client base. Job Description We’re looking for a technician with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of hurricane shutter systems , including but not limited to: Roll-down shutters (manual & motorized) Accordion shutters Bahama & Colonial shutters Storm panels (aluminum and clear) You’ll be responsible for ensuring proper installation, diagnosing and repairing systems, and interacting professionally with customers. Responsibilities Install hurricane shutter systems according to manufacturer specs and building codes Perform repairs, motor replacements, and routine maintenance Accurately measure openings and determine proper materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate effectively with team members and clients Troubleshoot electrical/motorized components (if applicable) Requirements Minimum 1 years of experience with hurricane shutters Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment Strong understanding of local hurricane codes and regulations Ability to read and follow blueprints or install specs Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Comfortable working on ladders and in outdoor environments Why Work With Us?
