This is a FT position that will primarily be a floor tech but also assist with light maintenance items and housekeeping (as needed). So we are looking for someone that can obviously master the floor tech role, but also be good at assisting with maintenance items in the facility and assisting with housekeeping if someone calls off or is on vacation. It is a small facility (58 beds) so wearing multiple hats is a norm for us. We are an organization that has a family-like environment that regularly demonstrates employee appreciation, and always strives to provide residents with the best care. Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility. Willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities:
Floor Tech Assist Maintenance Manager with building maintenance projects. Assist in housekeeping of resident rooms as needed. Assembles materials and supplies from the supply room and transports them to the work area Cleans spills or accidents in any area as they occur Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions , spills, excess carts, baskets , supplies and equipment etc. Follows all Safety procedures and guidelines by facility and The Director of Environmental Services Maintain dignity and respect for the residents personal & property rights Floor maintenance: Perform a variety of floor care and maintenance tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and steam cleaning Equipment operation: Operate industrial floor care equipment, such as automatic scrubbers, and maintain them by lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts Cleaning supplies: Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, such as mops, brooms, and brushes
Safety:
Adhere to safety, risk management, and infection control standards Customer service: Maintain a positive attitude and respond to customer needs Maintenance needs: Determine maintenance needs and ensure floors look their best
Carpeting:
Extract carpeting as needed, and perform routine and emergency maintenance Equipment recommendations: Make recommendations about the condition and operation of equipment Janitorial duties: Perform other janitorial duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
