Position Summary The Facilities & Logistics Technician plays a hands-on role in the physical upkeep and logistical operations across WOT campuses and offices. This includes daily maintenance, transportation support, inventory delivery, safety inspections, and setup for events and key milestones. This position supports the Director of Maintenance & Facilities and ensures that all operational needs are executed with speed, safety, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform minor repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing bulbs, and basic plumbing and electrical tasks. Execute light construction and painting, including touch-ups on walls and surfaces. Pressure wash buildings and vehicles, and assist with floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Maintain and sanitize restrooms, offices, and entry areas; assist with landscaping, custodial tasks, and safe trash disposal. Conduct inspections and document safety or compliance issues. Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and flat tire repairs. Manage daily vehicle checks, route logs, and GPS tracking for fleet vehicles. Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries, pickups, and staff/client transport. Coordinate cash collection and deposits from the student market with the Finance Department. Deliver documents and transport goods between various locations. Utilize a ticketing system for maintenance and delivery requests. Update inventory records and track distributed goods using inventory management systems. Distribute uniforms, school supplies, graduation items, and other goods. Maintain organized stock locations across campuses and headquarters, supporting inventory counts and restocking efforts. Assist in coordinating events such as school parades, graduation setups, and after-hours activities. Move, assemble, and deliver heavy furniture or materials as needed. Provide logistics support for summer food delivery programs and other seasonal operations. Remain on-call for emergency repair needs or urgent transport. Support the IT team with the physical installation of projectors and hardware. Assist with alarm system monitoring, key access management, and door code setup. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, delivery, or facility operations Experience with service/inventory tools (e.g., Zoho, Lightspeed) preferred Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation (CDL preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions Background check and fingerprint clearance required Incumbents may be required to perform any combination of the tasks detailed in this document.
