What You’ll Do:
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems across production lines. Daily tasks include overhauling pumps, motors, and gearboxes, conducting laser alignments, and using micrometers and calipers to ensure precise functionality. You’ll read schematics and manuals, handle component-level diagnostics, and perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, arc, and oxyacetylene methods. Work includes maintaining pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems-all while prioritizing safety, compliance, and minimal downtime.
What You Bring:
You’re a mechanically savvy professional with experience in steam systems, gas-fired boilers, turbines, and industrial utilities. You understand lubrication, chain/sprocket mechanics, and gear ratios. You know your way around hand tools, laser alignment systems, and measurement devices. You’re confident reading blueprints, conducting system checks, and staying ahead of failures with preventive maintenance. You’ve also got a solid grasp of electrical principles and aren’t afraid of welding sparks.
Requirements:
Advanced mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food processing setting Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxyacetylene) and cutting torch use Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred) Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks in a high-heat, high-noise environment
