Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, your main role involves receiving work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and/or preventative maintenance. You will interpret drawings and sketches to determine the best work procedures and tools needed to troubleshoot and repair problems. Your tasks include repairing, rebuilding, and testing electrical components to ensure equipment is up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Shift:
M-F 5am to 3:30 pm with 10-20 OT hour/week possible Responsibilities Receive and interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. Perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance. Interpret drawings and sketches to determine work procedures and tools. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components. Ensure equipment is operational efficiently and promptly. Essential Skills Experience with electrical schematics. Knowledge of overhead cranes. Proficiency in stick welding and MIG welding. Understanding of safety practices, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout). Ability to weld and fabricate using stick, MIG, and TIG methods. Ability to troubleshoot 24-volt electrical systems. Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge. Preventative maintenance experience. Maintenance repair skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with 240-volt motors. Proficiency in using mechanical benders. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 – $65000.00/yr.
