We are seeking an experienced Part Time – Maintenance Technician (29 hours per week) for one of our beautiful association in the Orlando, FL Market. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects at multiple associations for the division. This position requires interaction with colleagues, homeowners, vendors, and sometimes Association Board of Directors. Bilingual (English and Spanish) : English is a requirement. Part-time hours : The position is for five hours and forty-five minutes shifts daily (8:00 AM to 1:45 PM), totaling 28.75 hours per week. Potential for full-time : After a 90-day probationary period, the role may transition to full-time, pending board approval and performance evaluations. Starting pay : The hourly rate will be $19.50 , with future increases based on merit. General Maintenance Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Routine Maintenance:
Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Repairs:
Addressing repair requests from residents and promptly resolving issues related to common areas.
Grounds keeping:
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including outdoor amenities such as pool.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs. Other duties as assigned
Applicants Must:
Have previous Maintenance experience Be professional, organized and self-motivated Be able to work independently with little supervision Have the ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 4 hours per day Be able to safely bend and lift up to 50lbs. Be able to work in variable weather conditions Possess general computer skills Hold a valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record
