Job Description

Maintenance Technician North Point Management Winter Springs, FL 32708 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical knowledge, and experience in all aspects of apartment maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to complete projects mostly unsupervised, maintain various systems within our complexes, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all all units operate efficiently and safely for both current residents and the move in of new residents. Duties Conduct regular inspections of units, facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Complete maintenance projects such as unit turns, work orders, groundskeeping and coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion. Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance on various work order tasks (carpentry, door repairs, faucet repairs, toilet repairs, window repairs, water heater repairs etc.) Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Operate logic controllers for automated systems troubleshooting. Use tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to complete repairs or modifications. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
