Maintenance Technician 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765 As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, both indoors and outdoors. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Performing routine inspections of the mall premises to identify and address maintenance issues such as leaks, faulty lighting, or damaged fixtures. Conducting repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from mall management, tenants, and visitors. Cleaning and sanitizing public areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic zones to uphold cleanliness standards. Monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of parking lots, walkways, and landscaping features. Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events, displays, and promotional materials as needed. Operating and maintaining maintenance equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Collaborating with mall management, security personnel, and other team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in general maintenance, janitorial work, or a related field. Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques across multiple trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry). Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Physical stamina and the ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
