Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance tasks and a strong work ethic. This role requires ownership of necessary tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of equipment, facilities, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and buildings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Assist with facility inspections and provide maintenance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance work completed.

Respond to emergency repair needs as necessary. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Must own a full set of tools required for maintenance tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required.

Additional Information:
